Sea-View Apartments & Penthouses
Sea-view apartments and penthouses continue to be among the most sought-after properties in Mauritius.
For today's buyers, it's about more than square metres and floor plans. The property needs to match the lifestyle they want to live. Whether that's morning walks on the beach, entertaining on a sea-facing terrace, lock-up-and-go convenience, or simply waking up to an ocean view every day.
The strongest demand is currently for properties that combine location, lifestyle, and investment potential in one package.
This week we're featuring two exceptional penthouses with spectacular sea views

Mauritius This Week
Weather
Mauritian winter continues to confuse visitors from colder climates
Expect sunny days, lower humidity, daytime temperatures around 26-28°C on the coast, and cooler evenings (20-22°C), especially inland. Trade winds are becoming more noticeable on the east and south coasts
Hotel & Tourism Update
While winter is traditionally considered the quieter season, Mauritius' hotels continue to perform strongly. Recent tourism data shows hotel room occupancy averaging around 70%, demonstrating the island's ability to attract visitors year-round. Many of these guests spend most of their time within the resort ecosystem, which is why the island can sometimes feel surprisingly quiet despite healthy tourism numbers.
Strong hotel occupancy is often a useful indicator for the property market, reflecting continued international demand for the island.
Hospitality News
One of Mauritius' most iconic resorts, Trou aux Biches Beachcomber Golf Resort & Spa, is currently closed for a major refurbishment programme. The resort closed on 15 May 2026 and is scheduled to reopen on 15 October 2026 following extensive upgrades to guest rooms and facilities.
The refurbishment is expected to further strengthen one of the island's best-known luxury hospitality brands and reflects the continued investment being made across Mauritius' tourism sector.
